Privacy Policy
Hexir is a fitted-outfit community for publishing Look Notes, joining Room Picks, managing a profile, restoring optional Credits, and creating private Style Preview images. This Privacy Policy explains how Hexir handles account details, outfit photos, preview requests, payment records, analytics signals, and support messages.
Payments and Credits
Hexir uses in-app purchase transaction data to add Credits, restore eligible purchases, keep purchase history, and investigate payment issues. Hexir does not receive or store your full payment card number because payment processing is handled through Apple’s in-app purchase system.
The legal basis for purchase record processing is contract performance and compliance with tax, accounting, and consumer law obligations.
The information we collect
Hexir may collect account and profile information such as your display name, profile image, saved preferences, consent settings, and local session state. Hexir also processes the content you choose to submit, including Look Notes, saved outfit photos, favorites, Room Picks participation, and Style Preview source images.
For Credits and purchases, Hexir may receive transaction status, product identifiers, and restoration signals needed to provide the feature. Hexir also receives diagnostics, attribution, and app performance data through analytics and campaign measurement tools. If a web-based creator tool requests microphone access, Hexir may process audio input only for that tool session.
How we use your information
Hexir uses your information to operate the app, show your profile content, publish and display Look Notes, store favorites, run Room Picks, generate Style Preview images, restore Credits, troubleshoot failures, measure campaign performance, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.
The legal basis depends on the data type: account, content, and purchase data are processed to perform the service you requested; camera, photo, microphone, and AI preview processing depend on your consent; analytics and fraud prevention are processed under legitimate interest to keep the service stable and secure.
How Style Preview handles your photos
When you choose to use Style Preview, Hexir uploads the photo you select and the reference look you choose to Alibaba Cloud OSS for temporary storage and delivery, then sends the preview request through OpenRouter to Google Gemini image generation so a preview image can be created. Hexir asks for separate in-app consent before the first Style Preview request is sent, and you can withdraw that consent later in Settings.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent and our performance of the optional preview feature you requested. If you do not agree, Style Preview will not run and your selected photo will not be uploaded to Alibaba Cloud OSS or sent through OpenRouter to Google Gemini.
Camera access
Hexir requests camera access so you can capture outfit photos for Look Notes, update your profile photo, or prepare images for Style Preview without leaving the app.
Hexir only accesses media that you intentionally capture inside the app. The legal basis for this access is your consent through the iOS permission prompt and your direct action inside the app.
Photo library access
Hexir requests photo library access so you can upload saved look references, choose a Style Preview source image, save generated previews, and manage profile imagery. Hexir only accesses the items you intentionally select or save.
The legal basis for photo library access is your consent and your direct request to use these media features.
Voice and audio processing
If a web-based creator flow inside Hexir requests microphone access, audio is used only during that creator session. Hexir does not use microphone access to monitor background conversations. The legal basis for microphone processing is your consent.
Analytics and advertising
Hexir uses attribution and analytics signals to understand campaign performance, app stability, and high-level product usage. Tracking-related data may be shared with attribution and analytics providers, including Adjust where enabled in the app, only after the permissions and platform-level choices available on your device. The legal basis is your consent where required and legitimate interest where limited analytics are allowed by law.
Automated recommendations and AI features
Hexir’s AI feature is Style Preview. It is designed to create a visual outfit preview from the photo and reference images that you choose. It is not used to make legal, medical, employment, credit, or safety decisions about you.
Hexir does not treat AI preview output as a biometric identification system. It is an optional styling tool meant to help you compare a look before saving it.
Data retention
Hexir keeps account and profile records while your account is active and for up to 30 days after a deletion request is completed. Look Notes, favorites, and profile content are kept until you delete them or for up to 30 days after account removal processing. Style Preview source assets and generated preview references may be retained for up to 30 days for delivery, abuse review, and troubleshooting. Purchase and credit records may be retained for up to 7 years to meet accounting and legal obligations. Diagnostics, crash logs, and analytics events are generally retained for up to 90 days. Consent records for AI preview settings may be retained for up to 2 years to document feature permissions.
Third-party services
Hexir shares only the data reasonably needed for each provider to perform its function. These providers may include Alibaba Cloud OSS for temporary Style Preview media upload and storage, OpenRouter for AI request routing, Google Gemini for image generation used by Style Preview, Apple for in-app purchase processing and restoration, and Adjust for attribution or analytics where enabled. We require service providers that process personal data for Hexir to use privacy and security protections that are the same as or substantially similar to the protections described in this Privacy Policy and to use the data only for the requested service.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, consent withdrawal, or a copy of your personal data by emailing support@Hexir.com with the subject line Privacy Request - Hexir. Hexir aims to respond within 30 days. You may also update or withdraw the separate AI Style Preview consent inside the app’s Settings screen.
Children’s privacy
Hexir is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Hexir, contact support@Hexir.com so we can review and delete the data where appropriate.
Changes to this policy
Hexir may update this Privacy Policy when the service, legal requirements, or third-party processing categories change. When a material change affects how your information is used, Hexir will post the updated policy and update the effective date on this page.
